Here's another twist to the upload story:<br /><br />If you upload html pages named 0.htm, 1.htm, 2.htm etc. into your upload directory, then when you browse to their respective URL (robosavvy.com/Builders/<span style="font-style: italic">username</span>/2.htm), the page will be transformed, giving it the RoboSavvy look. Nice user pages will be linked later on RoboSavvy's main tree menu.<br /><br />Example : <a href="http://robosavvy.com/Builders/Meltdown/3.htm" class="postlink">http://robosavvy.com/Builders/Meltdown/3.htm</a><br /><br />These pictures belong to <a href="http://www.robosavvy.com/modules.php?name=Your_Account&amp;op=userinfo&amp;username=Meltdown" class="postlink">Meltdown</a>.<br /><br />In order to create a photo-album like the one we've created for Meltdown's pictures, follow these steps:<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold">1</span>) Download and install the shareware called <a href="http://www.download.com/ImageWalker/3000-2204_4-10239435.html?tag=lst-0-1" class="postlink">ImageWalker</a><br /><span style="font-weight: bold">2</span>) Copy the 3 template files located in <a href="http://www.robosavvy.com/Builders/limor/imagewalker_template/" class="postlink">http://www.robosavvy.com/Builders/limor/imagewalker_template/</a> into:<br />C:\Program Files\ImageWalker201\WebTemplates\<br /><span style="font-weight: bold">3</span>) Copy all the images you want in the album, into one directory and change their names to 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg etc.<br /><span style="font-weight: bold">4</span>) Run imagewalker, go to the directory containing your number-named images. Select from the menu: <span style="font-style: italic">Tools -&gt; Create Web Pages...</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold">5</span>) Press <span style="font-style: italic">Next&gt;</span> on the wizard. Select "all files in the folder" and <span style="font-style: italic">Next&gt;</span> again<br /><span style="font-weight: bold">6</span>) Select <span style="font-style: italic">RoboSavvy Style</span> template (stylesheet doesn't matter). <span style="font-style: italic">Next&gt;</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold">7</span>) Enter Thumbnail image 125x125, Jpeg, Quality.. <span style="font-style: italic">Next&gt;</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold">8</span>) Select <span style="font-style: italic">Normal View Style</span>. Press "View Options". Columns=4 Rows=9. Enter "Header and Footer".. OK, Next&gt;<br /><span style="font-weight: bold">9</span>) Select the output directory (not the same one as the numbered pictures folder!). Make sure the option "Place auxiliary files in a subfolder" is <span style="text-decoration: underline">NOT</span> selected! <span style="font-style: italic">Next&gt;</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold">10</span>) Default index file is <span style="font-style: italic">0.htm</span> , Home link is <span style="font-style: italic">robosavvy.com </span>, Default extension is <span style="font-style: italic">.htm</span> . <span style="font-style: italic">Next&gt;</span><br /><span style="font-weight: bold">11</span>) Edit the resulting html files if you want to add comments. It's easy even if you don't know html.<br /><span style="font-weight: bold">12</span>) Upload all the files created by ImageWalker to your Upload directory (one at a time.. sorry for the inconvenience).<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=3">robosavvy</a> — Fri Mar 04, 2005 2:21 pm</p><hr />
