Moti is an awesome new open source smart servo which can be used for just about anything. It turns continuously and tracks position for multi-turn servoing. It also has an Arduino-Compatible microcontroller inside, so it can be programmed autonomously. It has breakout pins on the servo, so you can add sensors right at each motorized joint, without extra cabling. And Moti daisy-chains for instant networking.<br /><br />A bluetooth shield can be snapped onto one module, to make the whole robot wireless. There is an App that allows instant control of all the Motis in a network. There's even a web-API to allow makers to design websites to control their robots.<br /><br />We're attempting to complement the growing use of 3D printing in robotics.
