as you all know, Asian suppliers traditionally use the USD as the base currency for commercial transactions. During that past 3 years exchange rates were pretty stable so using GBP as base currency was usually beneficial.<br /><br />But unfortunately this is no longer the case with a 15% drop in the value of the GBP compared to the USD during the past 2 months, and so robot prices (and probably prices of most anything else manufactured in Asia and USA) will be going up soon.<br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/Builders/limor/GBPUSD-Sep2008.jpg" alt="Image" /><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=2">limor</a> — Thu Sep 18, 2008 1:01 pm</p><hr />
