New Arduino 48 Server Controller (Dagu Red Back Spider Ctlr)

Hi all

We're pleased to announce a new Arduino MEGA compatible board designed to control up to 42 PWM servos: the DAGU 48 Servo Red Back Spider Controller

The board comes populated with 48 connectors for servos (these are 3 pin connectors with 5V Power, GND and Signal). As most mini and stabdard servos operate at 4.2-6V you can conviniently connect your servos directly to the board without the need for any extra circuitry.

The board is based on Arduino MEGA (ATMEGA 1280) and is compatible with Arduino MEGA shields.

phpBB [media]

In this video you can see the board controlling 48 micro servos simultaneously.

If you need to drive High power Servos, a High power Arduino Shield is optionally available from DAGU. The shield breaks out the PWM pins and offers an external power input which will power specifically the servos.

We're also pairing the board with the latest Rovers we have in our store:
- Dagu - Rover 5 Arduino Kit (4 motors and 4 encoders) http://robosavvy.com/store/product_info ... ts_id/1575
(a 2 motors/2 encoder version will also be available shortly)

- Dagu - 4 Channel DC Motor Controller with Encoder Support - http://robosavvy.com/store/product_info ... ts_id/1573

Check our store (http://robosavvy.com/store) for our latest product packs.

Regards
Pedro.
Statistics: Posted by PedroR — Fri Apr 29, 2011 5:19 pm
