Hey marcus, apparently robonova has another son. <br />This originally came from the hitec site. He appears<br />to be &quot;big brother.&quot; Do we have any other entries<br />into the family???  Marcus, I still like your version<br />best. <img src="http://forum.robosavvy.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /> <br />Humanoido<br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/site/Builders/Humanoido/robonova_penguin.jpg" alt="Image" /><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=416">Humanoido</a> — Sun Feb 25, 2007 9:00 am</p><hr />

Marcus - Son of Robonova: really cute. It looks like he could get down and boogie with his 1 DOF.<br /><br />Beermat: Thanks for sharing the servo identification chart. It's a much improved version over the manual on page 72.<br /><br />Humanoido<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=416">Humanoido</a> — Sat Feb 24, 2007 5:31 am</p><hr />

So instead of labelling servo numbers on the actual servos themselves, I have this picture posted next to my PC, if it helps anyone:<br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/site/Builders/beermat/robonova_motors.jpg" alt="Image" /><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=244">beermat</a> — Fri Feb 23, 2007 2:08 am</p><hr />

Meet the <span style="font-weight: bold">SON OF ROBONOVA</span><br /><br />First the concept...<br /><br />I was playing around making grippers and after listening to podcasts from Talking Robots <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://lis.epfl.ch/resources/podcast/">http://lis.epfl.ch/resources/podcast/</a><!-- m --> . I decided to look at using the spare servo channels to create extra-robot entities as I had lots of bit laying around, and a battery charging.<br /><br />I created a set of subroutines that can be called by various time/sequence/logic/random triggers, that create the ERE's behaviour independently of the RN1's routine.<br /><br />The extra-robot entities [ERE's] can be in the form of pets, drones, sensor carriers, manga characters, weapons and so on.<br /><br />So far I have deployed a 3 servo drone character and a 3 bot swarm attack pod.<br /><br />I am keeping alot of it close to my chest but I will share with you the <span style="font-weight: bold">SON OF ROBONOVA</span><br />This was the first ERE I made while waiting for the cells to charge. He is just called Son.<br />I also include some pictures of my lash-up grippers that were made in under an hour.<br /><br />Enjoy...<br /><br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/site/Builders/DirtyRoboto/RNkid01.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/site/Builders/DirtyRoboto/RNkid02.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/site/Builders/DirtyRoboto/RNkid03.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/site/Builders/DirtyRoboto/RNkid04.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><br />And the Gripper pics...<br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/site/Builders/DirtyRoboto/Grip01.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/site/Builders/DirtyRoboto/Grip02.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><br />Marcus<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=312">DirtyRoboto</a> — Thu Feb 22, 2007 10:53 pm</p><hr />
