If I understand your question, you are asking whether turning the servo control horn one way or another in order to line up the numbers before attaching the brackets can cause any harm to the servos.

Infact that is what I did, I had to turn the servo horns to match the numbers as described in the manual and I was worried that that can damage or effect the robot's performance. As you can see I am a beginner and I have lots of things to learn . . .

If I understand your question, you are asking whether turning the servo control horn one way or another in order to line up the numbers before attaching the brackets can cause any harm to the servos.

The short answer is No. The individual servos and consequently the entire robot can be manipulated when the power is off. In fact you should flex the servos in the assembled limbs through their complete ranges to verify proper range of motion before you first turn the robot on.

It is critical, however, that the control horn numbers line up with the screw holes in each bracket as marked in the manual. You should also be aware that there are some errors in the manual which have been reported and described in other threads in this forum.

That said, welcome to the Robo-one community! It sounds like you're off to a good start. I think you'll find this forum is the best source for Robonova information around.

Sorry to post again but I am stuck and I cannot proceed if somebody can help I will be very grateful - in a ntushell my problem is this - I found the photos and the diagrams on the manual regarding legs and feet assembly a little confusing, so I decided to follow the diagram on page 10 on the manual, while putting together all the servos in the feet and leg assembly I've noticed that the numbers on the servos horn did not match those on the manual, so I turned the servos a little bit so that the numbers match. Now, the question is did I do something wrong when I turned the servos to match the numbers on the manual?

Note: I am asking this so that I won't blow up any servo at strtup and as you know I am a beginner an I would like to have a good start!

Plese help.
