Hello, I know it's been a while since I last posted, but there's been a ton of stuff going on. Some great, some bad, but all moving ahead just fine. In any event, here's an exercise/dance clip I just finished up... The moves were taken from some European exercise video.

...NOTE: The complete RoboBASIC code is available for download under the video player on that page.
Nothing REALLY exciting, but there's a lot there... enough to help expand everyones RN-1 routine bank some. Enjoy it you crazy diamonds! I'll be back to talk again soon.

P.S. Who's going to RoboGames '07? Hope to see you all there!
Statistics: Posted by bauermech — Wed Dec 06, 2006 4:22 am

You're welcome Pev. I used the G24 from a capture for no particular reason really. You can capture as G6 also. By doing it that way, it separates the legs and arms visually. It's easier for editing the movements later if you have to. You won't have to sit there and count down through 20 sets of numbers to find the 'hip' servo.[/img]
Statistics: Posted by bauermech — Mon Feb 27, 2006 6:04 pm

Great Thank you. Have only just started in the roboBasic and found the details in the manuals and books a little lacking. You've already help me fill in some blanks cheers.

One question was the Move G24 code in your example generated by capture or is there a specific reason you don't use the G6 groups?

thanks again

Pev
Statistics: Posted by Pev — Mon Feb 27, 2006 9:38 am

Also, here is the RoboBASIC code from that very first video I posted in the "Robonova Videos - Look what we can do!" section. (the one with the tiny martial art-like segment at the end)
http://robosavvy.com/Builders/bauermech/MAPv10.bas
...Just cut and past the sections into the "Overall Template Program". Instructions are inside the code in case you get lost.
Have fun!
Statistics: Posted by bauermech — Mon Feb 27, 2006 3:09 am

I've been getting several e-mails from people who wish to learn how to program their Robonova-1. I set up a page to help out in that area at:
http://www.bauerindependents.com/robonova_codehelp1.htm
I'm just starting out with the basics... some terms and basic structure. Time permitting, it will evolve into some more advanced stuff, but hopefully this can help get your feet a little wet.
Statistics: Posted by bauermech — Mon Feb 27, 2006 3:03 am
