I'll be there too.

I have my new RoboNova O/S working almost enough to compete. It can load and play standard RoboBasic moves into eeprom (via FreeLoader). Because it is all interrupt driven I can even communicate with the com ports and play tunes, all at the same time....

ain't life grand.

Now if I could just get my FreeLoader bootloader to load the program correctly!
Statistics: Posted by DanAlbert — Thu May 31, 2007 10:44 pm

I have only had my RN1 for a little over 1 week now. I am going to add 2 gyros, accelerometer, and blue tooth.

I probably have no business entering anything?

What if I cannot show up until Saturday? What if I have to split Saturday around 4:00 pm? I can come back on Sunday all day though.
Statistics: Posted by MacPro7GB — Thu May 31, 2007 1:23 am

thanks for the encouragement, I've successfully registered as a team and talked the Bossrobot.com shop owner into sponsorship, although I've got to enter another event so he can be a driver too. THnx again Guys
Statistics: Posted by engineer — Thu Apr 19, 2007 5:39 am

I was in that same boat just last year. Don't worry too much. Even for the veterans in Japan, something can (and usually does) go wrong at some point. It's all about having fun and learning anyway ...and I think you have that covered.
Statistics: Posted by bauermech — Wed Apr 18, 2007 1:44 pm

OK, I just finished registering RN-! for the event. hopefully I & rn-! won't embarass me to badly, the only competition I got entered into was wrestling so even if rn-! falls over it's to be expected. I hope one of the teams will help me figure out what I'm supposed to be doing. Luckily Matt will be there, that's always got to help. wish to meet more roboteers there. there's plenty of robots signed up already.I hope I can have some fun. I'm open to joining a team. Thanks to PEV I've got the B/T working great. I've even got a spare servo, haven't smoked any lately Who else is going lots of luck, thnx for all the help.
Statistics: Posted by engineer — Wed Apr 18, 2007 6:13 am
