Coming soon...<br /><br />I am in the process of fabricating reciprocating gippers (CLAMPS from futurama). These are made from sheet metal and an HSR-8498 servo. <br />This means that the front and back plates of the hand move in unison as opposed to the standard form of one static plate and one moving plate.<br /><br />So far I have made 3 failed sets and am currently tuning the fourth set.<br />When I have a working product I will post up a visio file of the template so that you can cut out your own clamps at very low cost.<br /><br />I can cut out and finish a set of grips in about 2 hours from printing out the template. Yeah they use sheet metal that is not too strong but then again I dont not require Takeshi to crush and destroy.<br />I will give a rough timeline of three weeks from now.<br /><br />Marcus.<br /><br />Ps.
