Hi Doerk,

Take a look at the thread "Changing the code in the MR-C3024". The technique for updating the code involves generation of an .OBJ or .HEX output from an assembler or the gcc compiler then using a stand-alone loader to update the controller. A couple of downloaders are available from users on this forum. RoboFlash is one and it is discussed in the above thread.

The original RoboBasic is overwritten by this process but can be restored by using RoboFlashif necessary.

Hi,

i would replace the MR-C3024 board that cames from robonova with the same MR-C3024
but from another vendor.

I think that the MR-C3024 that comes from robonova has been modified that only robobasic is running, because i tested it and it was not detected with the avr programming ide.

Is that board protected ?? or is it possible the robonova has programmed special fuse bits
in the atlem mega 128 ? i dont know ??

MR-C3024 is quite an impressive controller board although there have been many users on the forum that reported having changed their RN1 controller board. which controller did you think of?

BTW: In case you have missed the discussion, the MR-C3024 boot loader sequence has been cracked and it is possible to program it with AVR-GCC

Hi,

i think about to by a new MR-C3024 controller

from another vendor, i thin kthis would be programmable by avr gcc ?...

Any ideas about it ?
