It should be on warranty so you can get replacements at no charge. Hitec has good email tech support and may be able to make some suggestions too.

My battery has a voltage of 6.8v with switch off and 6.2 with switch on. How can i get replacement by Hitec ?

What is the voltage on your battery terminals with power switch on and power off ?

Do you have anything plugged into the top row of connectors ? any bent pins ?

Can you measure the voltage on the top row of pins ? Middle should be 5V, top outmost edge is 0v

If you board is faulty then Hitec should replace at no charge.

I have just tried to run the controller with no servos, no led and it keeps sending the ">" symbol. Does anyone has a solution or do i have to invest 200€ for a new controller.

I have already tried to disconnect all the servos but i always get the same result ... It seem that i'll have to buy a new controller.

The only time I know where the RN sends an unsolicited ">" is on power up reset.

This with the light flashing suggests that the controller is continually resetting. This may be when the motors are turned on.

You should check if your battery is really charged properly.

If the battery is OK try disconnecting the servos, and see if the controller then starts OK

Hi,
I have finished building my robonova tow days ago, it first seems to work well (respond to remocon) but after the first charging cycle i can't get any move from the robot. The head's led is blinking but the blinking period doesn't seem to be constant. I have tried to fully charge the battery but i got no result. When i connect the robonova to my pc using a usb to serial converter i just get a ">" symbol that repeat every time the led blink. Do i need to change my controller board ?
