The Spektrum system is the DX-6 with a BR-6000 RX. $194 new

I do agree that building the robot is a big part of the fun. I did not know that new kits were being sold at that price, i am willing to knock off $100 beucause of this.

That would be $850 for a RN-1, Spektrum DX-6, with the cases for both the TX and robot.

This sounds much more reasonable to me.

--Dan
Statistics: Posted by danielzli — Fri Oct 05, 2007 3:52 am

I am interested in how you came up with a price of $950. Robosavvy sells a brand new Robonova for $968.35. Admittedly that is an unassembled kit, and yours is fully assembled, but building the robot is part of the fun. The only reason someone would pay your price, rather than buying brand new, must be for the RC controller. Could you provide details of what exact model number your Spektrum is? That way people could check what the new price for that model is, and determine if your used price for the robot and the controller together is worthwhile.
Statistics: Posted by evaderdjo — Fri Oct 05, 2007 3:44 am

Hey you guys,

I got myself an RN-1 last year, and i have barely used it since. It is a shame that i never put the guy to good use. Because i think someone else could put him to better use, He is up for sale. The robot comes assembled, with a hard case with a custom foam insert, Aluminum case for Transmitter. Includes charger everything needed to maintain the robot/radio (serial cable, chargers, spare parts, etc.)

This entire package would cost around $1,500 normally, but i will offer it to you for a much lower price, $950. The condition is next to new on all the hardware. This was going to be my new hobby but i never got into it as much as i would like.

http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1426/148 ... ea.jpg?v=0
[/img]

Please let me know if you are interested by e-mail dfukuba@gmail.com

If you have any questions or need anymore information, please go ahead and ask!!

--Daniel Fukuba
Statistics: Posted by danielzli — Thu Oct 04, 2007 8:03 am
