The C3024 is very picky on the Gyros it supports. This is because not only is the output pulse width important, but also the timing relationship between the pulse in and pulse out. This means most Gyros other than PG-03 and KRG-1, will not work.

In your servo configuration the relationship of input to output is of of no relavance, so it works. When used with the C3024 you have a problem.
Statistics: Posted by i-Bot — Thu Dec 06, 2007 2:21 am

Hi,

I have just bought a second gyro for my robonova and i have trouble to get it working. This gyro is a protech nt300, it is working with a servo attached (servo is moving while i shake the gyro) but the robot doesn't seem to get the signal as there is no response while i shake the gyro. I have tested the controller with my other gyro and it is working fine. Has anybody experienced the same problem ? (the gyro is not told to be an headlock gyro ...)
Statistics: Posted by Voelker — Wed Dec 05, 2007 4:55 pm
