That worked perfectly. Thanks very much. I wish the instruction manual said that.
Statistics: Posted by TexasDave — Thu Dec 13, 2007 2:38 am

It's a little misleading... the instructions that is. On line 17 where it says: CONST ID = 0 and then it has the remarked lines '1:0, 2:32 and so on, well what it is trying to say is 2 = 32, so rather than put a 2 for the ID change it to 32. Nothing else needs to be changed.

On the remocon, press p1 + 2 like it says in the instructions.

Tony
Statistics: Posted by Tohm — Wed Dec 12, 2007 6:17 pm

So I want to change the remote control ID on my RN-1. The manual says you just hold down P1 on the remote and the new number you want to assign (1 through 4) while pointing at the IR sensor. When I do this, it will no longer execute commands from the remote. I have to switch back to ID=1 to get the robot to execute commands. What am I missing?

Do you have to change the variable A = Remocon(1) in the action_auto.bas file? I tried changing the value to 2, but the robot kept repeating the raise arm motion.
Statistics: Posted by TexasDave — Wed Dec 12, 2007 1:53 am
