If you turned the robot on while charging it, you probably burnt the controller. Ask hitec for replacement.
Statistics: Posted by Voelker — Thu Dec 20, 2007 2:47 pm

Hello all
i have just got a robonova and have assembled it as best i can.
i manage to get some of it working after connecting the charger to the robot. after a few attempts and redoing some servos and switching the robot on and off while the charger was connected i smelt a burning and then no power to the robot. the charger also only indicates that its on and not charging.
can i assume that by doing what i did has in some way affected the charger, robot or board. Or i am just doing something wrong.
I would appreciate any help
Tel 0800 612 8439 or email stevan@hsk.co.uk
thanks
Statistics: Posted by stevan — Thu Dec 20, 2007 1:12 pm
