One of my old RN's, Thor, had a head with this feature - it was a lot of fun. I had to add both servos - one placed between the shoulders and of course another on top, as seen on the picture.

Not too tricky to assemble, and the brackets can be made by hand if you don't want to buy them (especially if you aren't worried about little rough looks under a puppet head). Anyway, best of luck.

-Hive
Statistics: Posted by hivemind — Sat Feb 09, 2008 11:46 pm

Just planning the final mod for the Robonova, when the kit arrives, and this might sound a very basic question, but is there a servo in the build kit which controls head movement?

What I need to achieve is head movement on two planes, horizontal and vertical, quite snappy at times, I presume a couple of servos in an arrangement is the way to go?

Has anyone created this as yet?

The Robonova is going to be placed inside of a puppet, with a much larger head, on a framework, so bulkiness is not a problem.

Cheers
Darren

Statistics: Posted by My Bear — Sat Feb 09, 2008 3:18 pm
