The hip flange is correct.
It has to be on the hard slippery floor like polish wooden floor or lanolium.
It still works only 3 out of 5 times. Finally I fine tune the code so that both legs will give better balance (left leg is planted a bit forward and both legs aligned) and below are 2 new lines:
MOVE G6A,101, 167, 25, 114, 100, 60
MOVE G6D, 69, 167, 68, 72, 127, 100

It works great now.
Thanks
Statistics: Posted by tanasit — Fri Apr 14, 2006 3:43 pm

It is the zero position for sure - If the feet are not set correctly it will cause the same problem.

Turn RN on - rock him from side to side while adjusting the feet. At one point the clunking will stop and he will be perfectly flat on the surface - that is a good place to start.

If your battery is weak HE WILL FALL

Did you check the HIP flange? Sounds like you have those brackets installed the opposite way.

Post a picture of the hip please...
Statistics: Posted by gsferrari — Wed Apr 12, 2006 3:29 pm

The servo zero was a bit off but still doesn't work.
Check all except the servo wires tension which I have to reprogram for the slowest speed to get a good look at them.

Thanks
Statistics: Posted by tanasit — Wed Apr 12, 2006 3:00 pm

* Fully charged battery
* Make sure the zero position is correct...tune accordingly
* Make sure all the servo cables are out of the way and not restricting motion in any way
* Make sure the foot-plate is properly installed
* Check if the topmost leg bracket is installed in the right orientation. The "taller" flanged bracket should be closer to the ground and the shorter flange bracket should be closer to the hip

Phew!
Statistics: Posted by gsferrari — Tue Apr 11, 2006 4:39 am

The "C" and "D" martial art moves will end with the fall 95% (A and B works fine), no matter what type of floor. I am sure it's not suppose to be that way.
Any suggestion of fine tuning the codes.

Thanks
Statistics: Posted by tanasit — Tue Apr 11, 2006 3:59 am
