Don’t buy anything at all for now! “Lot” could use a lot more O’s and T’s in your case.

Go for the $1400 KHR as suggested in your second post. If you don’t like the price, go for the $250 Lyn Brat. The Robonova-1 is priced in between. Many other humanoids also may fulfill your needs.

If you like powerful servos take the one with powerful servos. If you like to reconfigure/redesign your humanoid by now and then take the one that’s more modular (which you can equip with powerful servos as well). Maybe you don’t like humanoids at all, in this case take a look at other types of robots…

Gerry
Statistics: Posted by Gerry52 — Fri Mar 14, 2008 9:38 pm

I have been doing a LOOOOOOTTTT of research on my next purchase ... but still up in the air on it

I know there is a nice following of RoboNova owners on this forum ... so I want to get your perspective ....

I can not decide on if I should go with a Robonova ... or start with a Lynxmotion BRAT with the intent of building it up to a full Lynxmotion Biped ... the argument for Lynmotion is that it can be reconfigered/redesign over and over and has more powerfull servos then the robonova ... and gives the user more range of design and control of a stronger bot ... Can some of you robonova owners give me your 2cents on this please
Statistics: Posted by jbod — Fri Mar 14, 2008 2:53 pm
