Yeah dirty, they took your idea and ran with it. I've just tried it and it's way different than the way RN-! fights but more like it was stock with no gyros, accel and bluetooth. I now know why RN-! is so tough. The gyros were very hard to set and any change needs to be zeroed out. this year at robogames I had my laptop set for reprogramming and rezeroing, so RN-! was a better fighter. I still have problems watching the screen and robot at matches. even worse is finding space for the laptop near the platform and not getting in the way.
Statistics: Posted by engineer — Sat Jun 21, 2008 5:29 pm

We have posted a new video with some of the action shots from the Robot Internet Fighting matches we have hosted over the past 2 weeks. Keep in mind that the people driving the robots are on separate sides of the country, or even overseas! The video in this clip shows what you will see on your screen when you sign up for your Robot Internet Fighting match.

Check it out at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZ5XCYcoUiQ
Statistics: Posted by RobotServicesGroup — Sun May 11, 2008 3:36 am

Fighting robots over the internet was a natural extension of the work we did to create the FREE Robot Test Drive. If you can control one robot over the internet for the Test Drive, then you can control two robots. And if you can control two robots, you can get them to fight. The next extension would be to control four or six robots over the internet, and have a soccer match. But that may be a long way off into the future.
Statistics: Posted by RobotServicesGroup — Tue Apr 29, 2008 12:15 am
