Like Asko says, there's no need to solder to the card...

I used 51k resistors (color coded as green, brown, orange, then gold).
S11 refers to the servo port 11 on my MR-C3024, but any free servo port's center pin will work. The brown wire is common ground, so the same holds true w/ it... any gound pin will work.
It's all encased in adhesive-lined heat-shrink tubing, but hopefully you can make out the routes.
Statistics: Posted by bauermech — Mon May 22, 2006 8:13 am

I put 47 k resistors midle separed servo cords as I told there before.
I have a foto of it, but Ican't put it here.
Now he is not blinking any more and Ir-remote works very good and I did not have to solder enyting to the prosessor card.
Statistics: Posted by Asko — Thu May 18, 2006 11:19 am

Hy,
I'm retailer of the Robonova-I, last time I asssembled and programmed some of them.
The problems with the remote were solved if you erase the memory and download to the buttons part after part in one session. I don't like soldering on this board.

Ps: Here you find an auction of one

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... %3AIT&rd=1
Statistics: Posted by TiEFSEEUNKE — Wed May 10, 2006 11:36 am

I will try. However I don't have my RoboNova with me right now so it will be by memory. Maybe some other member could take some pictures and show exactly how they did it.

Also I did a typo and it should be AD6 not AD7.

You need two 50K resistors. Actually any two like ones should get the same voltage to AD6. I used some solder/crimp type connectors and pins that I purchased from Digi-key. I used a three pin connector to hookup to AD6 and hooked up one resistor to the ground pin, which I believe is the outside pin. I then hooked up the other end to the signal pin (the pin most in on the connection. I hooked up the second resistor to this same inside pin and hooked up the second end of this resistor to a the V+ connection of one of the unused servos, as the servos voltage pin is the unregulated voltage.

Hitech has a manual that shows the locations of these pins that you can download from their website. The one that I downloaded MR-C3024 Specification I downloaded from: http://www.hitecrobotics.com/info/downloads.htm

I hope this helps.
Statistics: Posted by KurtE — Tue May 09, 2006 3:33 pm

I believe that this is a known issue. You will probably also find that when your robot is blinking, it does not reliably respond to the remote control.

If you look at the last page of your RoboNova manual, you will see a section about low voltage warning setup.

There is a schematic with two resistors. These resistors going to AD7 are not built into the RoboNova. If you do wire this up, be careful not to make the same mistake that I did of using the voltage on the three pin connector associated with AD7 as this voltage is regulated to +5V and does not do you very much good to measure it.

The easiest way to temporarily resolve this is to go into the Robobasic code and comment out the call to robot_voltage.

I hope this helps.
Statistics: Posted by KurtE — Tue May 09, 2006 2:04 pm

Now I have got him standing stright by centerin servos. Same time I tried som programmin and managed to zero the controll board. I installed from the CD the Overall Tempate Program and after that the blue light is blinking: short-short-long, same time I got out of battery. I charged the battery, and light is still blinking.
When I had build him up, the light was steady.
Is that short-short-long light any code, whitch would have to response?
Statistics: Posted by Asko — Tue May 09, 2006 12:57 pm
