Yes, make the DELAY long enough so the servo always has time to finish its move.
David
Statistics: Posted by robots42 — Sun Aug 17, 2008 3:41 am

Thanks for your help, can I work it around with a DELAY command? because I am using WAIT following a SERVO command, ot is there something else I'm missing. A ll I need is the pan/tilt mechanism to reach certain point and then carry on with the statements.

Thanks again
Charles
Statistics: Posted by JavaRN — Wed Aug 13, 2008 4:17 pm

Wait doesn't work with the SERVO command only with the group moves.
if an analog servo is on a group I/O pin then it should work just the same.
WAIT won't wait for the servo to stop, only for the pulses sent to the servo to reach the move end point.
David
Statistics: Posted by robots42 — Wed Aug 13, 2008 3:01 pm

The WAIT should work with an analog servo. WAIT only works with MOVE and not with the SERVO command. The analog servo may be a bit slower.
Statistics: Posted by i-Bot — Wed Aug 13, 2008 2:58 pm

In Robobasic does the WAIT command works well with analogue servos? I am using it with pan and tilt mechanism using analogue servos HS-422 and it seems that it has no effect, if I remember well the WAIT command should wait for the servos to stop before continuing.

Thanks
Charles
Statistics: Posted by JavaRN — Wed Aug 13, 2008 11:11 am
