Great work RNX, but have you found it difficult to get your nova to stand on one leg with the added weight? When trying to get my Robozak to walk I can hear the servos struggle to support the upper body. Eventually I had to settle for a shuffle walk. I would like to see what you managed to do with your Robo and exchange code.<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=1735">serithseraki</a> — Sun May 03, 2015 7:32 pm</p><hr />

Yes, it is 2 additional servos on the hip and they can rotate independently. Will post some videos later.<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=1365">RNX</a> — Fri Feb 27, 2009 5:24 am</p><hr />

Very interesting work! So there are actually TWO additional channels/servos in this design? It looks as though you've added a hip rotation to each leg independently? Would love to see a video! <img src="http://forum.robosavvy.com/images/smilies/icon_cool.gif" alt="8)" title="Cool" /><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=1369">trashmanf</a> — Thu Feb 26, 2009 11:30 pm</p><hr />

Thanks Voelker. It took me quite some time to build it. I think I can make an extra pair for you at US$199. It will take about 3-4 weeks.<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=1365">RNX</a> — Thu Feb 26, 2009 10:10 am</p><hr />

Rather than waiting for Hitec to release the Hip Joint, I decided to make my own. The hip joint works pretty well and I am working on the code now.<br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/Builders/RNX/RN1/DSC01703.JPG" alt="Image" /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/Builders/RNX/RN1/DSC01704.JPG" alt="Image" /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/Builders/RNX/RN1/DSC01717.JPG" alt="Image" /><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=1365">RNX</a> — Tue Feb 24, 2009 9:59 am</p><hr />
