Hi,

I have been into R/C cars, planes and helis for several years and was looking to get into robotics. I bought a lego mindstorms kit which was very fun, but limited to three servos (and the servos don't have positional "homes")

So I just recived an RN-1 in the mail, my first "real" robotics kit, and am excited to get building thanks to the help on this forum's build page.

My question is - I noticed when I got the package that the sticker showed it had been on the shelf since March of 2006 or basically three years. It's got the IR remote in the kit and a CD with instructions.

I was just wondering if I should ask the members here first (rather than find out with a frustrating problem) if there are any known issues with the older RN-1s? Thank you,

Fletcher
Statistics: Posted by trashmanf — Thu Feb 26, 2009 11:36 pm
