thanks for the quick reply. I ruled out connectivity problems as I was able to connect successfully prior to clearing the memory. I did however reboot my pc & retry the connection before posting here with no success. I'm hoping it is a charge issue & am charging it now.
Statistics: Posted by jambv — Wed Mar 11, 2009 11:09 am

Clear memory should not give you a problem to download.

For the error you have:

Are you sure the battery is properly charged ?

Is the serial cable correctly connected ?

Is you COM port setting correct ?

Are you using a USB to serial ? Sometimes they get confused and need a restart.
Statistics: Posted by i-Bot — Wed Mar 11, 2009 10:59 am

Hi,
I have just purchased a used Robonova & am having a few probs. i am using Pbasic 2.5 & the controller is a C3024.When I first turned it on it it would stand to attention. Clicking "Controller information" in pbasic would return the controller type successfully. I thought I would load some of the template files to have a bit of a play so I clicked on the "clear memory" icon to clear the memory. Now I can't download any programs & selecting "controller information" now returns an error -4 - Check controller status, power etc. Have I stuffed it up?
Statistics: Posted by jambv — Wed Mar 11, 2009 10:14 am
