Had the same problem. Left my robot in my car on a hot day. My tilt sensor has not worked right since.
Statistics: Posted by Gort — Sat Aug 15, 2009 9:24 pm

Hi
I'm Horia from Romania and I bought 1 year ago TILS sensor for my Robonova and 2 Sharp distance sensors.
The TILT sensor it's working faulty because the range of the response it's other than the manual says , like yours (I do not have a LCD screen to see the actual values but I changed bit by bit the values in the program.)
I think they are poor quality!
Statistics: Posted by roboticage — Sat Aug 15, 2009 3:56 pm

Hi, I have the MAX Sonar and the robonava Tilt Sensor and they don't work as the begining.

The range value of the Tilt Sensor is reducing, the data sheet says the range value is 0-213, but months ago I have to change the range to 60-125, then 80-110 and now It's 90-110. Out of this range sensor doesn't work.

The MAX Sonar gives me ilogical values, without taking into acount the distance that it's measuring.

I check it one by one, with only one pluged sensor. Both sensors are more than 1 year-old. Are they deteriorating?
Statistics: Posted by RoboJeronimo — Thu Aug 13, 2009 5:16 pm
