Hi sertihseraki

The Robot you mention (Metal Fighter) has been developped by the same Korean company that developped Robonova (Mini Robot).

The robot has been around for a couple of years I believe and we have even evaluated adding it to our product catalog in 2009 but conmcluded it was not worth doing due to the higher price than Robonova and the lack of significant technological advances/improvements.

All this is to say that yes, that Robot is very much like Robonova and controller board is quite similar as far as I can tell.

If you use Google Translate and go to minirobot.co.kr you may even access their catalog and online store.

They still seel and stock parts fro Robonova as well but, as I said, the metal fighter is actually quite similar to Robonova.

I hope this helps answer your question.

Regards
Pedro
Statistics: Posted by PedroR — Fri Aug 05, 2011 6:10 pm

Has anyone seen this robot?
http://www.roboteshop.com/robot-catalog ... ghter.html

Apparently Mini-Robot has developed another robot that is the second robonova called Metal Fighter, probably to deviate from the original robonova name and the bad publicity that came with it. Anyway, in trying to find parts for my robonova I want to know if the parts in this robot are compatible?

It uses what I assume is a newer version of RoboBasic and a MRC-3024FX controller along with MRS-D2009SP servos.

Anyway, does someone know where I can find individual parts or software downloads for this robot? Any assistance would be appreciated.
Statistics: Posted by serithseraki — Mon Aug 01, 2011 7:05 pm
