I tried the 2.8 with no good result too. It did not give edit window on Windows 7 64 bit. It does appear to run programs in Robobasic under XP. It did not update my firmware, but I am on 2.7 firmware.

Sadly I cannot find install file for version 2.7 which worked OK.

I suggest to use Roboflash to install original 2.5 firmware, until you get a copy of 2.72
Statistics: Posted by i-Bot — Sun Dec 11, 2011 1:25 pm

Hello!

Ok, thanks for this help!

I downloaded and installed, everything worked well.
Tried a bit around like rero setting, read code and so on.

Because everything seamed to be fine, I compiled some code I made and wanted to upload.

Was asked if the firmware should be updated and the trouble began.

Since this, I get after the wakeup of the robot a short sound like creek and than it was it.

Now I´m not able to access the controller at all.

Googeling told me about some users also having this problem, when using 2.7 but couldn´t find something helpfull.

Any idea?

Thx
Statistics: Posted by Guido — Sun Dec 11, 2011 10:14 am

Not sure what minirobots.co.kr are doing at the moment. They seem to be changing websites around.
The new website has version 2.8, but does not seem to have 2.72. Maybe you should ask them.

I did not try 2.8 with the metal fighter additions.
Statistics: Posted by i-Bot — Sat Dec 10, 2011 5:22 pm
