because i am still a student i couldn't afford to build somthing like that, but i got into the smaller 1lb weight class. I had been doing well with that and thought it was awesome.
I realize that combat robotics isn't a "true" robotics sport, but you can learn alot. building these amazing bots can be so complicated and fun. I wanted to start getting into the computer science side of robotics. After seeing what RoboOne could offer, i was hooked. I then convinced my parents that i should get a robonova (had to write a 5 page proposal) they then agreed and got one for me.
And now i'm here....working on mechanical modification on my RN-1 until i got BASIC down.
