I will eventually move to Lipos but I will work with what I am familiar with for the time being. I get an hour or more of runtime with my usual play and that is fine for now. Anyway here are the pics.

The measurements are in mm
Statistics: Posted by serithseraki — Sun Aug 19, 2012 5:56 pm

After gathering measurements and finding a battery size chart I think the cell size for the battery pack is 2/3 A with 1.2v and 1000mAh. I found what I think I need here. http://www.barrysbatteries.com/product/6/858/One-Pair-Of-23-A-1000-MAh-High-Capacity-NiMH-Rechargeable-Batteries-With-Taps.html
Now can someone help by confirming this information for me before I purchase the wrong item?
Statistics: Posted by serithseraki — Fri Aug 17, 2012 8:01 pm

Okay, earlier today I took apart one of my nova's defunct battery packs to see how it was made. Firstly, I noted a white tape over the battery bars, I assume to dissipate heat? Second, a paper disc around the positive contacts, can someone tell me what those are for? I have never seem them before. Now seeing as I want to keep one of my nova's in its default form I wanted to build my own replacement battery packs but I do not know the size of the cells used in the nova's battery. Can someone help me find these my current searches lead to AAA and AA cells which are too long.
Statistics: Posted by serithseraki — Fri Aug 17, 2012 12:51 am
