you can test the led using a 3V watch batery or two AA cells in serial, but if you got % VDC at ouput your led is dead than mine surelly. I will replace it for a 5V led.
Statistics: Posted by aguiloco — Mon Jan 01, 2007 2:51 pm

There's a note at the Hitec Robotics web site. It confirms that damage can result to Robonova if its turned on when the charger is still plugged in. The charger feeds more voltage than the controller board and sensors can handle. So remember to unplug the charger!

You can read about it here.

http://www.hitecrobotics.com/info/news.htm

Humanoido
Statistics: Posted by Humanoido — Thu Dec 28, 2006 5:10 am

Finally I check the problem, with the multimeter I see than he board is pretty good, with 5 VDC at the output. Only the led is dead.
Statistics: Posted by aguiloco — Wed Dec 27, 2006 6:09 pm

hi again... Now I have a problem, the head LED dont work, yerterday at morning it was working good, I carry the robot in a bag surrounded by protectrion bubble paper and a lot of clothes carrefully, and when I turn the power on at the afternoon at my fathers home the LED don´t bright. I open the head and body to see the wires and it seems to be right. Here I don´t have a multimeter to check the output voltage to the LED. The rest of movements or fuctions works good.

Has passed this to somebody?
Statistics: Posted by aguiloco — Sat Dec 23, 2006 11:25 am
