It's a shame you didn't post this earlier as my 606 has turn up in the post this morning with the programmer.

It's a nice bit of kit and hopefully having the proper programmer will make life easier.

bren
Statistics: Posted by Robo1 — Mon Mar 05, 2007 12:58 pm

Hi

I'm currently working to interface the new Quadravox QV606 MP3 file player to the Bioloid I/O Module so that we can get the Bioloids to talk or make sounds. I got the QV606 from Milford Instruments for £36 plus the usual and didn't want to spend the extra £45 for the programmer, also my laptop has no serial port so I needed a USB solution.

So I designed and made my own and have made the Eagle PCB schematic and PCB layout just in case anyone else wants to do the same. The download is here:
http://robosavvy.com/site/Builders/pepperm/QuadravoxprogrammerV1.zip

I hope that someone finds it useful.

Mark
Statistics: Posted by pepperm — Sun Mar 04, 2007 11:48 pm
