yep I've seen that, but I'm working with SW 2005 and it's too old to open the files. Anyway, I've already modelized all the stuff I needed, and now that I have a comprehensive kit that's ok
Statistics: Posted by Biodog — Fri Apr 13, 2007 8:31 am

You just have to put the original firmware back onto it. It's in one of the directories somewhere.
Statistics: Posted by billyzelsnack — Thu Apr 12, 2007 7:59 pm

Ok folks, I've got a new one (question)

I've been writing my own c-prog, based on the Example.c, and it's running, no matter with that. The point is: I can't charge the batteries anymore! When I switch my bot on, there's no more "standby mode, press U to charge"... So I'm stuck with a cable bot
anyone can fix that?
Statistics: Posted by Biodog — Thu Apr 12, 2007 4:18 pm

By the board I mean the stuff with chips on it, the brain! my purpose is to mount the cm5 in a personnaly deviced bot, and I don't know if I will have enough space to keep it in a block or will have to split the different parts around (batteries, CPU, so on). That's the reason of all these questions!
By the way, when you tell me that the batteries are inside the box, I can guess the board itself isn't very "encumbering", so maybe it will be easier for me to put it on a face, and the batteries on the other.
Statistics: Posted by Biodog — Tue Mar 20, 2007 10:54 am

The CM5 weighs in at about 310 grams. 233 of those grams are for the battery. The box is about 50 grams.

By the board, are you talking about the actual PCB inside?

The PCB by itself weighs 34 grams, and is 55mm x 88mm...

- Jon
Statistics: Posted by JonHylands — Mon Mar 19, 2007 6:25 pm

Wouhahhh! That's quick answer! and what about the board itself (and if you know its weight, I may marry you )? please excuse me if I don't explain what I want very well, my english is so rusty
Statistics: Posted by Biodog — Mon Mar 19, 2007 5:16 pm

The rectangular box the CM-5 sits in measures:

100mm x 69mm x 32mm

The CM-5 case itself measures:

90mm x 56mm x 44mm

Note that (when sitting flat on a table) the floor of the box is 3mm thick, so the combined height of the CM-5 inside the box is 47mm...

- Jon
Statistics: Posted by JonHylands — Mon Mar 19, 2007 5:10 pm
