Bioloid new architecture

It isn't a gumstix, it's a cirrus edb9302. Yes it's 5v. I'm thinking about a board that have 2 different power: 5 volt for electronic and 9volt for servos and also can recharge the 2 different battery pack. What about a LIPO pack? it's better then a Ni-mh?
About the pressure sensors think i'll wait for your kit because my board have only 3 A/D pin and i'd like to add about 8 sensors at the moment (4 per foot).

Hi Goldrake,

You don't need any power conversion for the servos - just a power switch, and a fuse.

For your ARM9 (are you using a gumstix?), it really depends on what power your ARM9 needs. I'm using a gumstix verdex, and it requires no more than 5 volts going in (to be regulated down to 3.3 volts), so I use a 5 volt switching regulator from Dimension Engineering (http://www.dimensionengineering.com/DE-SW050.htm).

As far as the pressure sensors go, if you can wait a while, I will eventually have my pressure sensor kits ready to go, which will include 4 sensors plus a board that plugs into the bus. If you would rather just connect them to your ARM directly, then you need to feed one side of the sensor power (same voltage level that is Vcc on your ARM). The other side is connected to an A/D pin on the ARM, with a 10K pull-down resistor (to ground).

Hello, i'm developing a new electronic architecture for bioloid.
I bought a arm9 with linux, added a camera and added the usb to ttl converter (as shown on the thread on this forum). So bioloid now have a new brain and a camera (i bypass the cm5). All is working

I need only a good schematics on a power board for: arm9 board and servos.

I also plan to connect the pressure sensors but i don't know which board and chip i need to convert the analog signal of pressure sensors in digital signal connected to GPIO of arm board.

Any help?
