You can test it with the <a href="http://support.robotis.com/en/techsupport_eng.htm#product/auxdevice/communication/rc100_manual.htm" class="postlink">RC-100A controller</a> or with the <a href="http://support.robotis.com/en/techsupport_eng.htm#software/roboplus/roboplus_task/quickstart/roboplus_task_virtualrc100.htm" class="postlink">Roboplus Task virtual robot controller</a>.<br /><br />In order to send the values from the PC you can use the <a href="http://support.robotis.com/en/techsupport_eng.htm#software/zigbee_sdk/zig2serial/linux/gcc.htm" class="postlink">Zigbee SDK</a>. You will need the Zigbee Zig-100, the Zig2Serial and USB2Dynamixel for the PC and the Zigbee Zig-110A for the CM-5xx controller.<br /><br />Hope it helps <img src="http://forum.robosavvy.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=698">siempre.aprendiendo</a> — Sat Jan 04, 2014 10:51 pm</p><hr />

I am currently running Ubuntu on a laptop and attempting to serially connect to the CM-5 in order to access the motion file and make the robot move. <br /><br />Unfortunately, I don't know much about serial connections and don't even know where to start to make this connection happen.<br /><br />Any insight into this would be much appreciated <img src="http://forum.robosavvy.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=7632">madelineharlow</a> — Fri Jan 03, 2014 10:26 pm</p><hr />
