Hi,

The problem has been found, thanks again to iBot
It was a parsing error that was triggered by the reception of a Dynamixel 2.0 packet (the new protocol used by Dynamixel Pros).
What remains to be elucidated is why the Wizard would send a DXL 2.0 broadcast ping packet when trying to discover DXL 1.0 devices...

Anyway, the fixed firmware will be available soon at http://xevelabs.com, with an update utility.
Statistics: Posted by xevel — Fri Jan 17, 2014 1:21 pm

Hi,

I just wanted to inform whoever might be interested that since the release of RoboPlus 1.1.x, the Dynamxiel wizard seems to have an incompatibility with the USB2AX for some reason.
The manifestation in the Wizard is that searching for dynamixels freezes at the first ID, and the progress bar never fills.
The problem might not be limited to that part of the software suite.
While the problem is investigated, I suggest for people who want to use the USB2AX to stay with 1.0.x versions of RoboPlus.
Statistics: Posted by xevel — Tue Jan 14, 2014 8:37 pm
