Some one has worked out the motion editor's output and created a c struct definition for it. Search these boards.

Given the BCP's simplicity, I'm not sure very many are all that hot to spend the time to reverse it.
Statistics: Posted by roycepipkins — Sat Sep 08, 2007 10:58 pm

Robotis doesn't release the source to the bioloid firmware. They do however include an example.c file with your kit that gives you a starting point to communicate to the dynamixels. From there you are on your own.
Statistics: Posted by Bullit — Sat Sep 08, 2007 5:37 pm

Hello,

I'm new with the Bioloid and I want to control it directly programming the AtMega128 in C to have more freedom, but as a start point it will be nice to have the C code for the Bioloid firmware, which seems to be like an interpreter for the output of the Behaviour Control Programmer.
Does anyone have the C code of the Bioloid firmware? and the specification of the output from the Behaviour Control Programmer and the Motion Editor?

Thanks.
Statistics: Posted by Rob386 — Sat Sep 08, 2007 1:39 pm
