I'd seen one of those videos and it did kind of inspire me to putting the legs + wheels together. Mine have active wheels so the legs are more of an active suspension instead of driving the robot forward. I'm going to try combining a walking gait with wheeled movement to get him going something more than slow <img src="http://forum.robosavvy.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=717">acy.stapp</a> — Sat Sep 22, 2007 6:58 pm</p><hr />

I have uploaded some shots of my bioloid. It started out named &quot;beetle dozer&quot; but it's final form is more of a duck-ape.<br /><br />Here's one of it standing and peering forward into the void.<br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/Builders/acy.stapp/IMG00183.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/Builders/acy.stapp/IMG00185.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><br />The head with an untested shroud to help improve resolution for detecting line edges and reading barcodes.<br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/Builders/acy.stapp/IMG00184.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><br />Here's a picture of a wire guard to protect the wiring harness. It can be taken mostly off without having to remove the CM-5.<br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/Builders/acy.stapp/IMG00186.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><br />Here's a bottom view showing the construction in more detail.<br /><br /><img src="http://robosavvy.com/Builders/acy.stapp/IMG00187.jpg" alt="Image" /><br /><br />I am programming it to wander around my house following tape lines and sing different songs in different rooms.<br /><br /><span style="font-style: italic">admin:the [ img ] and [ /img ] tags were added to images to embed them in thread</span><p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=717">acy.stapp</a> — Wed Sep 19, 2007 5:29 pm</p><hr />
