I don't know about the SB screw - I haven't had to buy any more of them. Looking at one of the screws up against a ruler, I would say they are an M3.

Hmm. Spend £20 on a new set of screwdrivers or £20 on a new set of screws.

Tough call.

Is the S-B screw and nut for the pivot M4 then? It looks like M3 but I've got a nut here I thought was M3 and it's too small.

They are in fact M2. The problem that you're having is you are using the wrong kind of screwdriver.

Has anyone discovered the screw thread in use in the Bioloid? I'm guessing it's M2 looking at it but I don't have anything else M2 kicking around to confirm it.

I'm finally fed up of the naff screw heads on the stock screws and the way they strip every time you try to do them up tightly. It's time to invest in new screws/bolts with better heads. I'm thinking Allen keyed button heads but I need to research the best type. I need something with a head good enough to do up properly tight, thread lock so it doesn't come out again and still have a head strong enough to remove it a few times.

What does everyone else use? Do you just put up with the stock screws or have you replaced them?
