Hi JavaRN,

Why don't you use HaViMo? it does not need any changes in your hardware, you should just plug it

Best regards,
Hamid.
Statistics: Posted by hamid_m — Sun May 18, 2008 8:01 pm

My dream was always to have two robots that can form a football (soccer) team. I watched al lot of videos and it seems that most of the competitors have dynamixels, probably the same ones used in Bioloid. Till now I've always releid on simple colour blog recognition through my laptop and wireless communication with the robot (that's what I did with the robotic arm). Now I would like to go a step further and make a humanoid robot playing football autonomously.

I thought of connecting a CMUCAM 3 to bioloid using the same connections for zigbee module (TX RX power etc) and CMU CAM 3 will act as an image recognition hardware and a "brain" to the robot as well.

For me this is a quite advanced task in the sense that I am a dummy (or something less!) in electonics. Can anyone explain if this task is possible from the electronics (hardware) point of view. What are the things that I should watch out for? Is this a task that can be done by an electronics dummy like me or you have to be an advanced electronics expert for something like this? and finally, has anyone tried this before?

Thanks, any comments are more than welcome.
Statistics: Posted by JavaRN — Thu May 15, 2008 5:45 pm
