The Microsoft "discount" puts the net price roughly near where a used Bioloid should be. But you get the full $820. Sounds like you're the one getting the Microsoft money.
Statistics: Posted by UsedRobotGuy — Mon Oct 20, 2008 3:58 am

Take $200 off that price and free shipping. Bioloids hold their price pretty well too since they rarely show up on the used market.
Statistics: Posted by billyzelsnack — Sun Oct 19, 2008 7:55 pm

I checked with Limor and he said it was cool if I posted here..

I know. I know. It was a really hard choice. I really like my Bioloid. Everytime I come back to it I am impressed at how nice the kit is. Anyway.. Selling to fund my bigger biped project and my mech wars entry.

Bioloid
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0260499192

My prices are set to work well with Microsoft's live cashback program. With their current rate ( 30% max of $200 ) the final price for the Bioloid would be $620 shipped!

You can read about the cashback program here..

http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?t=952519

The gist is.. Visit live.com and search for something that activates the special link.

Bioloid humanoid

just worked for me. In the banner at the top or right it will have a "live search cashback" link. Clicking on it activates the promotion and takes you to ebay. Now search for bioloid and you'll find my listing. Click on "buy it now" and it'll should show a green icon showing that the cashback is activated. It'll show you exactly how much cashback before you checkout. If it is not obvious. It is not working! Stop and try again from scratch.

If you have any questions on how it works let me know and I can walk you through it. I was a bit nervous my first time too, but ebay does guide you through the process so you know your cashback amount before you checkout.

Also.. Check your ebay messages for this month to see if you happen to have a "fall savings" 10% coupon. I used mine along with this 30% deal the other day on a macbook purchase. The 30% worked on the full price and then it gave an additional 10%! YMMV though.

btw. I also have a i-sobot
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0260491127
and possibly 3 more humanoid robots over the next week.

btw2. I'm pretty sure this deal only works in US.

btw3. If any of the robosavvy crew buys it I'll also include the parts to build one of Arnaud's interfaces.
Statistics: Posted by billyzelsnack — Sun Oct 19, 2008 9:29 am
