A bit late but here is a reply from Robotis:<br /><br /><blockquote class="uncited"><div><br />[CM-5 Version 1.15]<br />&lt;-&gt;PC:57142 BPS, &lt;-&gt;Dynamixel:1000000 BPS<br />ID:006<br />001(0X01) Dynamixels Found. <br />[CID:006(0X06)] &quot; <br />and then nothing is send or received. if i restart manage mode the same happens . same happens even in play mode .<br /></div></blockquote><br />=&gt; CM-2+ / CM-5 can be controlled through CABLES for stability. The message shown above means data CM-5 is transmitting. If you send out command using ZIG-100, CM-2+ / CM-5 does not respond accordingly.<br /><blockquote class="uncited"><div><br />3. Connected RC100 &gt;zig100 to a computer( USB2Dynamixel - zig2serial - zig100) <br />When i press any key on the remote, i get garbage value on the terminal window, but the communication does not hang, garbage keeps coming  . <br />I tried all the possible bauds on the zig100 and the comp. but different garbage keeps coming.<br /></div></blockquote><br />=&gt; RC-100(with zig-100) is compatible with Behavior Control Programmer. You are not getting the direct value of the key, but encoded data set for packet communication. So it is NOT garbage data. Hi,<br /><br />Has anyone been able to connect the Robotis RC100 remote control to a CM2+/CM5 using the zig100 ?<br /><br />I have the following hardware with me:<br /><br />Robotis RC-100 remote    -1<br />zig100 module      -2 ( configured at the default baud : 57600bps)<br />Cm2+       -1<br />Cm5         -1<br />zig2serial   -2<br />usb2Dynamixel   -2<br /><br />.<br /><br />I tried the following configurations and got the following results<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold">1. connected two computer using the zig100&gt;zig2serial&gt;usb2dynamixel on each.</span><br /><br />i could communicate properly using a tera term program(nmi term ).
