No problem... the manual lies.<br /><br />The dynamixel starts with the LED on (when it is in the bootloader) and switches it off when the firmware starts (about ~60ms later).<br /><br />In general if the LED on the servo is either on or off - everything is fine.  if it is flashing then you have a problem (see the description of byte 17).<p>Statistics: Posted by <a href="http://forum.robosavvy.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&amp;u=1296">RandomMatt</a> — Wed Feb 04, 2009 10:20 pm</p><hr />

Hi. Currently I'm buying AX-12 servo motor and Ni-MH 2700mAh (9.6V). When i connect the battery to the single AX-12, the LED blinks once only. But refer to the user's manual Page 8, under connection status verification, it state that when power is applied to the dynamixel actuator, the LED will blinks twice.
