You'll need some interface between the wireless and the AX-12. You'll have to create something of your own design or modify something already in existence. The CM-5 doesn't seem a horrible choice...

Hi Dears,
I want to use MATLAB for control of Dynamixel AX-12 so I have to connect Dynamixel AX-12 to USB2Dynamixel with wire ((PC BASED ROBOT PROGRAMMING)). therefore
Can I have wireless communication with Dynamixel AX-12 using Zig-100 without using CM-5 i.e. useing CM-5 only as power.

How can I have wireless communication with Dynamixel AX-12 without CM-5 as main ????
