Thanks! I`ve added the extra servos and made some modifications to the gate, I got to say its looking better than the original.
Statistics: Posted by mpenoushliev — Thu May 07, 2009 7:06 pm

I'm running it the same way with 23 servos.

Make sure you have the servos correctly IDed too!
Statistics: Posted by srobot — Wed May 06, 2009 1:26 pm

Thanks ! Oh one more thing, should I change the robot profile in the Motion Editor? I`ve made a new Humanoid1.rbt file, the only thing I did was to add these two lines:

18:19:[19]Dynamixel:512
19:20:[20]Dynamixel:512

PS. 500g ??? Woow sounds like you did a lot of customizations!
Statistics: Posted by mpenoushliev — Wed May 06, 2009 12:22 pm

Two additional servos will be fine.

I added close to 500g to my bioloid humanoid and it was still able to walk, but barely. Servos heated up pretty significantly as well.
Statistics: Posted by Tyberius — Tue May 05, 2009 5:47 pm

Hi guys, I`m planning on modifying my bioloid by adding two servos on the elbows so that I can bend them forwards and backwards (i.e. for the right arm I plan on connecting servo 6 to the new servo and then a cable from the new servo to servo 4). My question is this; would the weight of two extra AX12+ servos be too much? And if not, what is the absolute maximum ? Thanks for the help.
Statistics: Posted by mpenoushliev — Tue May 05, 2009 4:36 pm
