Hi Everybody... I have built and played with several models from the Comprehensive Kit, including the humanoid. Everything worked great, had no real problems.

My last model is the king spider. The check program works fine. When I load the demo program, to robot correctly assumes a low position, then on a clap it starts walking. However, here's the problem - after about 2-3 seconds, it usually stops in mid-motion, then starts behaving erratically. Some legs stop working as intended (it will walk for 2 seconds, but for example it will drag one leg on the ground), and it just starts going nutts...

I have updated to all the latest firmware. Battery is fully charged. I double checked all the joints....

Running it connected to the BCP program, it shows the usual message about 019 Dynamixels found. However, as soon as it goes beserk, I get a looong list of Error 8100, for example:

ERROR:8100[0088:02]001 002 024 001

Etc, etc.. Can anybody tell me what a heck is going on with this? Any help would be appreciated!

Polbit
Statistics: Posted by Polbit — Wed Jun 10, 2009 4:48 am
