As far as I know strict odometry isn't possible with the AX12. You could approximate/estimate the 60 degrees you can't track, though...?
Statistics: Posted by StuartL — Tue Jun 23, 2009 7:46 pm

Hi there,

as I wanted to implement odometry on my bioloid I've set the motors in wheel mode. Odometry needs at least one sspeed data each 50ms but that seems impossible for ax12. The position range is only 0 to 300 degrees so I wonder how to use odometry with ax12.

Is it at least possible ?

Thx for your help !
Statistics: Posted by XTinX — Tue Jun 23, 2009 3:24 pm
