Hi Nandy
I just noticed something in your post.
What we at the mentioned project was use the Simulink Real-Time-PC-Target
This is a mode of Matlab/simulink that takes priority over most other things running in windows to the extent that standard windows COM interfaces are unreliable or unavailable.
Therefore I had to write driver level code to talk directly with the serial port chip (16550 compatible).

Therefore the FTDI COM emulation will probably not work for that code.

I suggest you find a PC that has a physical serial port on the motherboard.
Statistics: Posted by limor — Tue Sep 08, 2009 11:10 pm

nandy.debasish:

I have deleted all of your duplicate threads/post on this issue. Please be aware that it's considered very bad etiquette to post the same question multiple times and you're unlikely to get any answers to your questions at all if you spam the forums with fifteen posts on the same topic.

Ask the question once and very clearly describe everything that you've tried to do, including the results of searching forums and google for others with similar problems. If you do so the very friendly people on the Internet will see if there's anything they can do to help you.
Statistics: Posted by StuartL — Tue Sep 08, 2009 11:13 am

DEAR Khashi.E

Let you know the problem in details. I'm using a PC which have no serial port. This is why I'm using USB2DXL RS232 mode and connect it to CM5 with a serial cable. when I try to interface Matlab with Biloid using 'COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL BY RS232' then problem occurs. The link is given: http://humanoids.dem.ist.utl.pt/pc_rs232/overview.html

The above problem must occur who is using Laptop for doing Matab interfacing with Bioloid. Thank you for replying.

With regards
DEBASISH
Statistics: Posted by nandy.debasish — Thu Aug 27, 2009 7:19 am

Hi nandy,
You will try to fix simple problems first.then if it dousn't work, try with technical solutions.
check your PC COM3 port.perhaps it is damaged.try to connecting USB2DXL to another usb port.
change or reinstall your ax-12 frimware version if red LED of the ax-12 is always on.
check your USB2DXL is on TTL mode.

if this solutions douse not work, let me know.

regards
Khashi.E
Statistics: Posted by Khashi.E — Wed Aug 26, 2009 6:58 pm
