when I visited the ROBOTIS offices in Seoul during KRGF I got to see these kits and the manuals for the Korean Version.

The upcoming Education Versions are very very cool.

They come with the parts set just like the BUG but they add lots of sensors and a programming cable for the CM-100 controller.

The BUG (as well as the Education versions) come with a micro controller named CM-100 which can be programmed using ROBOPLUS (that neat new tool from Robotis that also works with Bioloid).

You also get some DC motors (and servo) with the Education Kit as well as the sensors I mentioned above and they can all be programmed with Roboplus.

Additionally the sensor architecture is expansible so - from what I've understood - you'll be able to add any A/D sensor that works in the 0~5V range.

Quite interesting.

If anyone else is interested in this topic, here's the word from Robotis:

The rabbit which is in the video is included in a forth coming Level 2 educational package, so the instructions aren't available yet.

The support staff at the store (roboshop) where I purchased my OLLO kits was kind enough to ask their Robotis contact for me.

The legs appear to be identical between the two rabbit models. However, everything else is different, and without the schematics for the internal and rear assemblies, it would take a lot of messing around to get it right.

Unfortunately, all of the videos I've seen only show the rabbit from the front. For example, you can see that the two servos from the Bug kit are mounted side-by-side, vertically. Beyond the legs and the servos, you can't see much else.

I just thought someone might have this sort of information handy.

Im not a OLLO fan myself, but have you tried making them yourself? from what i understand you do have instructions for a simpler rabbit (and mouse?) so mabe you could try to change those using videos as reference? just a thought tho, maybe you actually need some software part and already build the structural part(s)

Note that the rabbit is different from the one you can assemble with the Action kit. It's instructions are here:

I have both the Action and Bug kits, but neither comes with the instructions for these configurations, nor can I find them online (mainly http://www.ollobot.com).

My guess is that these configurations were supposed to be sold as an "OLLO Pet" kit that was never released. However, after looking at the videos, it looks like most of the required parts are already included with the Bug and Action kits, so all I need are the instructions that would have come with the Pet kit.

Any other OLLO fans out there?
