Max number of Sync Writes to Rx 10 using Gumstix

I have my gumstix verdex doing sync_writes to 25 dx's / rx's /ex's 200 times per second with an ftdi module. Perhaps your kernel is not configured properly. Increase USER_HZ / CONFIG_HZ so jiffies are much smaller (default is 100, increase to 1535 on Verdex), set CONFIG_PREEMPT, I'd also recommend using libftdi.

I am sending sync write packets to 18 Rx 10 Motors using a FTDI module and Gumstix.But the maximum number of Sync Writes I can send are 33 per second.If I increase the number of Sync writes , I get a delay of around 30ms(As analysed from the Logic Analyser) after 33 packets....How can I increase the number of Sync write per second???
