Yah, I did a pretty ugly hack job on his chest shell and his battery holder area. Basically I just had to cut out a big battery-shaped chunk out of the middle of everything, from the white pieces that connect the torso and legs, up into the chest cavity, while also making sure not to destroy the structural integrity of the plastic.
I just remembered - I also had to drill some knew screw holes through the bottom of the chest unit into the white brackets that hold the chest onto the legs because, in widening the brackets, I lost the use of the original holes. The white torso connector brackets have 2 rows of screw holes on each edge, but the bottom of the chest shell is drilled only to use the innermost set.
